Valentine's Round Up

As long as I can remember, I have always looked forward to Valentine's Day.  Growing up, my mom would always make it such a special day for my brother and I.  I loved getting dressed up in my most festive pink or red outfit, exchanging Valentine's cards with my classmates, having fun at our class party complete with Jello in the shape of hearts lovingly made by Sarah Martin's mom (without fail on every single celebratory party each year), enjoying all of the decorations, mini chocolates wrapped in pink or red foil, cinnamon hearts, and of course a Valentine-themed meal planned and orchestrated by my mom.  She always found a way to make each day and occasion so special...which is why I probably love and look forward to these holidays as much as I do.

This year I was more intentional about creating content so I thought it be fitting to do a Valentine's Day roundup of all my favourite looks.  I don't usually mix such bold colours, but I make an exception when it comes to pairing pink with red.  I love the impact it makes especially since its not a colour combination commonly worn and feel like I'm channeling my inner Blair Eadie- whose style I've admired for years.  I still plan on styling each of these pieces in different ways over the upcoming months since they can transition from winter into spring.  I was lucky to have been gifted quite a few of these pieces from Chic Wish who I have have loved for years.  Their feminine and elegant styles are affordable and of really great quality.  Most of the items from my outfits are still available and if not, I've linked some amazingly similar options on my LikeToKnow.It  account.
