When I'm not blogging, I work full-time as an elementary school teacher and truly love what I do. I have always loved working with kids and helping them to learn and achieve while making learning engaging and meaningful. As much as I feel fulfilled and content in my career, there has always been something missing. And I knew that putting my other great loves of style, beauty, etc. aside was part of the problem.
So, I have taken up this blog primarily as a hobby; a side-hustle to see where it will take me with no expectations. My blog is a personal outlet for sharing my ideas and creativity with others, to experiment with fashion no matter what age you are or career you have, to take style risks with fear, and to really just fall in love with all things style, beauty, and travel.
The title of my blog came from my love to travel and explore the world as well as my excitement and openness to embrace trends and be fearless in trying new styles even if they haven't become mainstream yet. When it comes to style, I have always been a risk-taker as far back as I can remember and although my style has evolved as more classic, refined, and feminine, I still have that hint of trendsetter edge to my personality that pops out.
